They received their veterinary doctorate from Cornell University, earned a PhD at UC Berkeley, and did postdoctoral research at Princeton University. Their research focuses on wildlife disease ecology from immunological and coinfection points of view, and they’ve done a combination of fieldwork across sites in Africa and laboratory work in cell, micro-, and molecular biology. They have also worked in biotechnology and scientific consulting and communication. Carrie also trained as an artist, and currently focuses on conceptual photography, scientific and commercial illustration, and street art.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Sally Erickson Wilson After receiving her master’s degree in Textile Design from the Royal College of Art Sally began an extensive career in Color, materials and finish [CMF] design at Peugeot S.A. in Paris, working for the Peugeot and Citroën brands. This was followed by a seven-year stint in Italy working Ford’s Ghia studio and Fiat as a CMF Designer. At Ghia the work focused on advanced concepts including the Ford Focus. At Fiat Erickson she led a team of designers developing creative CMF strategies. Sally returned to Ford in the late 1990’s working in Michigan, the UK and Germany, as Chief Designer where she was able to develop her skills at a time when the CMF studio practice was gaining ground as its own recognized discipline. When CCS launched the MFA Program in Color and Materials Design in 2014 Sally returned to the College full time as Department Chair.</image:caption>

Her work explores the convergence of design thinking, biology, and engineering to develop multispecies interfaces and closed-loop systems with applications on Earth and in space. She holds a Master of Science in Integrated Design and Media from New York University. In 2022, she joined NYU as an adjunct professor, teaching a graduate course in Biodesign. She built and now directs the prototyping biolab at Newlab, where she facilitates interdisciplinary innovation across the organization, and works on building a diverse and collaborative network of biotech innovators in NYC and beyond.</image:caption>

Winslow formed the pioneering new media studio, the New Reality Company, in 2016 with Milica Zec, creating the critically-acclaimed cinematic VR experiences Giant and Tree. He is currently a Cultural Leader at the World Economic Forum, a seven-time mentor at the New Museum Incubator, a founding member of ONX Studio and an adjunct NYU Tisch professor. Winslow is also an artist in residence at the Smallhold Mushroom farm in Brooklyn, creating an immersive experience featuring the first volumetric time-lapse of mushrooms growing called Forager, featured at SIGGRAPH 2022 and Unreal Fest 2022.</image:caption>

He was named in the top 100 Investors for 2022 by Alumni Spotlight and was recognized by the NVCA as one of the top LGBTQ+ investors making an impact. Ben has spoken at the UN General Assembly on Living with Purpose, has been a guest speaker for the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Centre, and in 2021 gave the graduation address for his alma mater after being named Young Alumni of the Year by the University of Tasmania. Tashia is an alumna of Drexel University, where she received a M.S in Interior Architecture &amp; Design, and the Royal College of Art, where she received a MRes in Architecture.
